Endless Coffee Choices, One Compact Machine — Save Space, Save Money, Savor More!

Magician1 Mini Key Features
1. Why a Modular Design?
More Choices, More Flavors: We aim to offer a wide variety of coffee pod options rather than limiting you to a single capsule type. By creating a machine compatible with most coffee pods on the market, saving customers money by eliminating the need for multiple machines is our ultimate mission.
Easier Deep Cleaning: One of the biggest challenges in coffee machine maintenance is residue buildup inside internal channels. Descaling agents alone often can't fully remove coffee grounds accumulated in the brewing chamber. With our removable and replaceable brewing module, you can clean thoroughly anytime.
2. Why an LED Display?
We equipped the Magician1 Mini with a premium LED display—typically found only in high-end coffee machines—to enhance your coffee experience. For specialty drinks, the LED screen shows key parameters like brewing time, temperature, and cup size, giving you clear, intuitive control.
3. How to Use Hot and Cold Brew Modes
While in standby mode, press and hold the red power button for 5 seconds. When the red light turns solid blue, cold brew mode is activated—ideal for smooth, low-acid coffee, especially on hot summer days. To exit cold brew mode, briefly press the power button again. Press it once more to restart hot brewing mode.
4. How to Make a Delicious Cappuccino
For a rich, creamy cappuccino, use a DG* or LAVZ*Blue milk pod with your preferred espresso capsule: Set the temperature to 85°C (185°F) and select cup size level 7. Insert the milk pod into the appropriate adapter and brew the milk foam. Without moving the cup, insert a NES*or LAVZ* Blue espresso capsule. Set the temperature to 92-93°C (194-199°F) and select cup size level 1 to brew the espresso. As the espresso pours into the creamy milk foam, golden layers will form—a perfect cappuccino!
5. Why Expand with More Adapters?
More capsule adapters will be designed in the future. Simply purchase the Magician1 Mini capsule adapter to expand your coffee options—no need for multiple coffee machines. This flexibility lets you explore more flavors with just one machine—perfect for those seeking variety and spontaneity.
6. Why a 600ml Water Tank?
The reason why this coffee is designed with a 600 ml water tank is to keep the machine small and space saving, ideal for small kitchens. It also serves to ensure health and hygiene needs, reminding you to replace fresh drinking water in a timely manner, so that stale water does not affect taste and safety.
7. How to Brew a Perfect Cup of Espresso?
A great espresso relies on stable brewing temperature, consistent pressure, and the right grind size for your coffee beans. To ensure stable brewing temperatures, we recommend inserting an empty adapter first to flush out any condensation inside the machine’s internal pipes. This method, commonly used by professional baristas, helps stabilize the brewing temperature while preheating your cup and cleaning the internal system—an excellent habit for achieving consistently great coffee.

Please note that the coffee maker is not compatible with Nespresso Vertuo, L'OR Barista XXL, Lavazza Firma/Point, Senseo pods, or reusable pods such as K Carafe, K Mug, Vue, or Rivo pods. For the best brewing results, we recommend using our suggested capsule brands and types. Due to differences in material, size, and internal pressure among some capsule brands, using incompatible capsules may affect the performance of the Magician1 Mini or even shorten the machine's lifespan.
7 Cup Sizes, Limitless Options - Brew Your Perfect Cup!!!

Seven Cup Sizes Options
1. Cup Size Description:
The seven cup size levels are designed based on common coffee-drinking habits. Each level is not a universal standard; the actual cup sizes depends on the specific coffee capsule, as well as real-time temperature and pressure factors. Therefore, even with the same capsule and cup size setting, slight variations may occur. The factors influencing the brewed cup size of ground coffee are highly complex and varied. Key elements include the coffee’s origin, roast level, dose, distribution consistency, grind size, and tamping pressure—all of which significantly impact the final cup volume.
2. Cup Size Recommendations:
Ristretto: We recommend selecting Level 1. Use NES* Ristretto capsules, ESE 44 mm pods, DG* Espresso capsules, LAVZ* Blue* Espresso capsules, or 13-15 g of ground coffee with a grind size between 300-500 microns.
Espresso: We recommend selecting Level 2. Use NES* capsules, ESE 44 mm pods, DG* Espresso capsules, LAVZ* Blue* Espresso capsules, or 13-15 g of ground coffee with a grind size between 300-500 microns.
Lungo Coffee: We recommend selecting Level 4-5. Any capsule or ground coffee can be used.
Americano: We recommend selecting Level 7. Any capsule or ground coffee can be used. For the best experience, we recommend using the Magician1 K Cup adapter with K Cup capsules for optimal Americano brewing.
Specialty Drinks: For drinks such as lattes, cappuccinos, dirty coffee, or tea, we recommend selecting Level 6-7. Use Blue* or DG* milk capsules or tea capsules, then add a shot of espresso.
Iced Americano: Use a glass no taller than 8.5 cm. Add approximately 90 g of ice and 90 g of cold water to the glass, then select Level 4 to brew approx. 90 g of coffee. Enjoy your refreshing Iced Americano!(SCAA Recommendation Ratio)
How to Adjust the Temperature and Switch Between Hot & Cold Brew Modes

Temperature Settings & Brewing Mode
1. Temperature Setting Instructions
Enter Temperature Mode: Press and hold the brew button for 5 seconds until the temperature digits on the LED display start flashing, indicating the machine has entered temperature adjustment mode.
Adjust Temperature: Briefly press the cup size button to increase the temperature by 1°C with each press. The temperature will cycle between 85°C /185℉ and 97°C /206℉.
Confirm Temperature: Once your desired temperature is displayed, wait for 3 seconds. The machine will automatically save the setting, even if powered off or unplugged.
NOTE: Once in temperature setting mode, you must press the cup size button within 5 seconds to select your desired temperature. If no action is taken within this period, the machine will automatically exit the setting mode.
2. Hot & Cold Brew Switching Instructions
Activate Cold Brew Mode: In standby mode, press and hold the red power button for 5 seconds. The power light will turn solid blue, the display shows "CO", indicating the machine has entered cold brew mode.
Switch Back to Hot Brew Mode: Briefly press the blue power button to exit cold brew mode. Press the power button again, and the light will turn red, indicating the machine is now in hot brew mode.
NOTE: After using hot brew mode, allow the machine to cool down fully before switching to cold brew mode. Since the internal boiler remains hot, switching too soon may affect performance. For faster cooling, switch to cold brew mode and brew multiple cups of water to cool the boiler quickly.
Brewing Guide for Ground Coffee & Adapter Maintenance

Brewing Guide for Ground Coffee & Adapter Maintenance
1. Brewing Guide for Ground Coffee:
Choosing the Right Grind Size: For espresso brewing, select a medium-dark roast espresso blend and grind it to 300-500 microns. Too fine a grind can clog the stainless steel filter cup, restricting water flow and increasing pressure, which may lead to leakage. Too coarse a grind allows water to pass through too quickly, resulting in weak espresso with little to no crema.
Optimal Coffee Dose: The recommended amount of ground coffee is 13-15 g. Using too much coffee increases brewing pressure and may cause leakage, while using too little results in weak flavor and poor mouthfeel. After tamping the ground coffee, ensure the coffee level does not exceed the "MAX" scale line.
Distributing & Tamping the Coffee: If possible, use a coffee distributor and a precision tamper with a pressure scale. The distributor ensures even coffee distribution to prevent clumping. Tamping pressure should be moderate, ideally between 9-13 kg. Excessive tamping can restrict water flow, leading to excessive pressure, leakage, or even machine jamming.
Selecting the Brewing Temperature:
Medium-light roast: Use a higher temperature (92-95°C) to reduce acidity.
Dark roast: Use a slightly lower temperature (88-92°C) to minimize bitterness.
Note: Brewing espresso with ground coffee requires practice to achieve the perfect cup. Even professional baristas need multiple test brews when using a new coffee machine to fine-tune the grind size, coffee dose, tamping pressure, and brewing temperature. Experimenting with different settings will help you find the best balance for your machine.
2. Maintenance of Ground Coffee Adapter & Stainless Steel Filter Cup
Flushing the Adapter & Filter Cup Using the Machine:
Insert the adapter with the 51 mm stainless steel filter cup (without coffee grounds) and brew a cup of hot water. The pressure will help flush out any residue in the filter cup and adapter. We recommend performing this rinse before each brewing session.
Manual Cleaning of the Adapter:
Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the upper filter screen and the bottom filter unit. Rinse them thoroughly under running water to remove any trapped coffee grounds. Once clean, reassemble the parts securely.
Recommended Maintenance Frequency:
Perform a deep cleaning every 200 cups or at least once a month to prevent coffee residue buildup, which may cause leakage.

Helpful Guidance & Maintenance Tips
About Noise
The Magician1 Mini features a 19-bar high-performance italian water pump, designed to operate at noise levels typical for espresso machines. Compared to coffee makers (such as drip coffee machines and American-style single-serve coffee maker) with lower pressure (3-5 bars), this espresso machine may sound slightly louder—this is completely normal. The noise is louder at startup but quickly stabilizes during operation.
About Leakage
There are two main types of leakage:
Component-related leakage – Caused by missing or improperly assembled parts, typically due to a damaged or missing adapter sealing ring or puncture needle.
User-related leakage – This can occur due to incorrect operation, such as using incompatible or damaged coffee capsules or improper brewing with ground coffee. Forgetting to press down the lever after inserting the adapter may also cause leakage.
How to Increase the Coffee Temperature
Before brewing, insert the adapter (without a capsule) and brew hot water using any cup size button. This helps flush out any residual condensation inside the machine’s pipes, preheats the adapter and filter cup, and reduces the risk of clogging. Additionally, preheating your cup with hot water can help maintain a stable coffee temperature. For high-altitude areas or colder seasons, refer to the user manual or product details page for temperature customization options.
Properly Inserting the Adapter
Ensure the adapter is fully inserted into the brewing chamber and that the metal lever is pressed down completely. Forcing the lever down when the adapter is not fully inserted may damage the machine. To prevent potential issues, make sure the adapter is fully inserted before pressing the lever. Forgetting to press the lever after inserting the adapter may also cause leakage.
Recommended Cup Height
The Magician1 Mini is a compact espresso machine designed to save space while delivering a rich and flavorful coffee experience. It supports cups up to 3.8 inches (9.5 cm) in height. If you prefer a larger Americano, we recommend using a wide-mouth mug that fits within the 3.8-inch height limit.
About Odor The internal components of the machine are made from food-grade materials, ensuring safety and health compliance. Additionally, every unit undergoes a water-brewing process before leaving the factory. However, we recommend performing a thorough cleaning before first use.
Cleaning Instructions: After preheating, select the 7th cup size setting, insert any empty adapter (without a capsule or filter cup), and start brewing hot water. Discard the hot water and repeat this process two more times.
Please Note: If the handle cannot be lifted, do not force it. Wait until the internal pressure has fully released—this will allow it to return to normal. This issue is usually caused by using ultra-fine ground coffee, incompatible or broken coffee capsules. For more questions, please refer to the "Troubleshooting" section in the user manual. Please refer to the "First-Time Use Guide with Diagrams" manual for your first use.
